Instructor levels

The ADVANCED Instructor

The authorization to conduct the 2nd degree training

 

Requirements:

 Must have completed the BASIC level with all the exams, in theory and practice  
 Must have a minimum of two years of experience as an FDM BASIC instructor and must have conducted a minimum of 10 basic level courses
 A positive opinion of the management board based on the questionnaires and the results of the hospitation/observation
 An active participation in the research and development projects
 An active participation in the process of the model modification and change – the improvement of diagnostic standards etc.  
 Minimum six months of cooperation with a second level course instructor
 A passed theoretical exam consisting of 50 questions in the field of the selected specialization
 A passed practical exam - presentation of holistic diagnostics in accordance with the FDM model, including conducting the specialized clinical tests on a show patient
 The exam is taken before the supervisor and the vice-president / president. If the vice-president / president is also a master instructor, the presence of another instructor is required

The BASIC Instructor

 

Requirements:

 Years of experience in manual therapy: minimum 4 years of documented therapeutic work
 A minimum of 120 hours of training in manual therapy
 Another started or completed course in the field of the manual therapy (recommended: FM, Anatomy Trains, Deep Tissue Massage, Rolfing, Neuromuscular therapy)
 The completion of the full FDM basic course (6-day or 9-day Intensive FDM)
 The completion of the second-level course (i.e. the assistant should choose a second-level course that he or she will use in his / her daily professional practice).
 The assistantships at all second-level training courses - the assistant passes the theoretical exam only in the specialization (e.g. FDM Lymphology, FDM Ortho Sport).
 A minimum two-year assistantship
 Completing 4 hospitations/observations
 Passing the theoretical exam covering the first and the second level FDM therapy issues
 Passing the practical exam in the knowledge of the basic level and the selected second-level course (if the specialization applies to FDM Lymphology, then the assistant passes the practical exam in the basic FDM course and the FDM Lymphology course)
 Writing your own presentation / training script that will be used only for the training conducted by the instructor
 Fluency in one foreign language
 The compliance with the abovementioned requirements and passing of the exams, provides the basis for obtaining the title of an international FDM instructor at the BASIC level
 The validity of the instructor qualifications is a period of 2 years - after two years, refresh training and practical exam

 

 

The conditions to maintaining the BASIC instructor level:

 At the turn of two years from the date of receiving the title of The International FDM Instructor, the instructor is obliged to complete at least 2 assistantships in the FDM basic course and 2 assistantships in the specialization.

 Within two years from the date of receiving the title of The International FDM Instructor, the instructor is obliged to conduct one webinar and / or write a case study.

 

 

BASIC level exams

 The patron is chosen by the president / vice president of the organization.

 At the patron's request, the president / vice-president may shorten or extend the period of assistantship.

 The practical exam is always taken before the president and / or vice president, his patron and another instructor.

 The theory test consists of 100 questions (abcd) with one correct answer. The exam should be considered passed after obtaining 75% of the correct answers. In case of failure, the re-examination may take place at the earliest after 3 months.
