GFDMO
GFDMO works according to the idea of its creator, Dr. Stephen Typaldos:
‘Think with the FDM model and make sure that it reaches all the people in the world who need it, because thanks to it you can change both your and your patients' lives for the better.’
GFDMO – Global Fascial Distortion Model Organisation is a worldwide network of the FDM manual therapy educators. Global Fascial Distortion Model Organization, whose founder and owner is Angitia Sp. z o.o., was established in 2016. We were inspired to create the organization by the medical paradigm created by Stephen Typaldos - the FDM model.
The foundations of our organization were laid by the international IFDMC - International FDM Congress, which was held on the 25th anniversary of the discovery of the first distortion of the fascial system by Stephen Typaldos. The Congress was organized in cooperation with Angitia Sp.z o.o. and AWF Katowice and with the support of world-class scientists, such as: Andry Vleeming, Robert Schleip, Andreas Haas and very experienced practitioners, lecturers and instructors in Poland and abroad, such as: Frank Römer, Raimond Igel, Ewa Włodarczyk, Piotr Kstrzębski and many others.
The main goal of the GFDMO is the constant development of the FDM model through: conducting research, organizing international and national congresses, cooperation with universities in the country and abroad, cooperation with doctors, sport trainers and sports associations of Olympic disciplines, hospitals and research units, organization of workshops , scientific meetings, joining professional groups and many others.
